The JR Pass is a special rail ticket that is available only to visitors from overseas. There are some restrictions, e.g., it cannot be used for the Nozomi train (super express on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines); however it is still the most economical way for a visitor to see all of Japan by rail. There are two classes, Ordinary and Green, and each are available in 7, 14 and 21-day types. Prices are set in Japanese Yen, therefore our retail price is adjusted each Wednesday at 9:30 according to the current exchange rate.
*Within three months from the date the Exchange Order was issued, you must turn in your Exchange Order to obtain your JAPAN RAIL PASS. Therefore We can issue a JR Pass Exchange Order starting at 3 months prior to your departure date, up to 7 business days prior to our departure date.
