Map USA was opened in Los Angeles and began land operations for MapTOUR, the Japanese parent company at the time. A total of 5 retail offices were opened across the United States, and offices were added later in Hawaii, Canada and Australia.
Low-cost operations, knowledge and experience gained as a pioneer in discount ticket sales in Japan, direct relationships with overseas suppliers such as hotels, and wholesale relationships with airlines allow us to provide very competitive prices, and we have gained impressive support from our customers in overseas Japanese communities. After gaining independence from Map International, we changed the name of our retail offices to NaviTOUR in 2001 with the intention of increasing our international network. There are courrently 15 NaviTOUR offices worldwide.
